Immediate access to your identity and medical records
BERTS Alert Medical ID bracelets do what nobody else can do, provide “immediate” access to your identity and medical record. The first responder, hospital, or anyone else that you allow to scan the smart chip has immediate access. This is crucial, they can identify you by your photograph. They can use your name when talking to you, they know who you are.
You choose the information to disclose
BERTS Alert Medical can store all your medical information or that part which you decide to be stored. We explained to John, that we had one client who only wanted to disclose that they had a pacemaker and nothing else. This is your choice! At present the Medic Alert Health Record system is flawed! The record is not being updated. You can be admitted to one hospital one day and the next have to attend another hospital and they would not have on record your previous attendance. You may have experienced when seeking medical help being asked for your medical history, well now all you have to do is allow them to scan your BERTS Medical Alert bracelet.
